S2RC was awarded a 21.2 Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR).

S2RC proposed Expeditionary Airmen Software Interface Efficiency Research (EASIER) and was selected and funded for a 21.2 Phase I SBIR. EASIER is a set of User Interface (UI) design guidelines developed specifically for dismounted expeditionary Airmen. These guidelines will establish a design usability standard for dismounted users, providing clear guidance when designing for the extreme needs of dismounted combat users. EASIER Phase I will focus on the UI design and interaction between Air Force Special Warfare (AFSW) Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs) and their UI.
